Principal's Message

Dear Mulvey Families,

By now you have received your child's class assignment.  This letter indicated your child's teacher, class room number and assigned in-person attendance days.   We also acknowledge that many of our students have chosen the full virtual option for the first quarter.  Information regarding the details on how your classroom teacher will manage their digital environment will come shortly.  We will also be arranging a grab and go day for virtual students to pick up their school books in order to complete assignments at home.

This year, more than any other, we need to work as partners in your child's education.  We are sharing the role of developing students' academic proficiency.  We are prepared to provided strong and relevant academic content to every child on virtual learning days.  To accomplish this, we will need your support in making sure that the children are actively engaged and participating in the digital environment.  We are not on an extended summer vacation.  We will hold an expectation that students log-in to complete and submit assignments daily.

Please keep in mind that your child's classroom teacher will be instructing students in-person Monday - Thursday during regular school hours.  They will not continuously be available for you should you have questions.  Please be patient and know that they too want what is best for your child.

The beginning of the year will once again be new for all involved.  We understand that we are all working as hard as we can to make the best out of a difficult situation.  I am confident that we will overcome the challenges and obstacles ahead of us.  The Mulvey Community always rises to a challenge to overcome the obstacles that lie before us.

Stay safe and healthy!
